The Elijah Triangle - Part 1
March 09, 2015 08:20 AM PDT
itunes pic

Elijah was a man anointed by God to call the people to repentance. In a time where leadership was passive, and the worship of false gods was common, God sent Elijah to draw the hearts of His people back to Him. Ahab was a passive king with no backbone. His wife Jezebel was evil and manipulative. By influencing her husband, she was able to impose her own wicked agenda on the nation. Her evil caused God's people to suffer greatly. They stopped worshipping the true God because they were afraid and intimidated by Jezebel. The spirit of Ahab is a passive, apathetic one. It is someone who will does not care to know truth, or stand up for it. The spirit of Jezebel uses lustful and enticing manipulation to get what it wants. A Jezebel spirit cannot operate without an Ahab spirit. Christian's are under attack for their faith today more than ever. Is it possible we have let fear keep us from living out our faith publicly? This series begs the questions, "Who have we allowed to silence us? Are we allowing fear and intimidation to keep us from living out our faith in a generation that so desperately needs Jesus?" - See more at: http://store.wogm.com/products/the-elijah-triangle#sthash.g5teq85Z.dpuf

5 Part Sermon Series We are living in the days of grace, sometimes referred to as "the church age." It is an age that started at the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It had a definite beginning and it will have a definite end. The Bible tells us what is going to happen in the future. Believer's will be raptured out of the earth and the 7 year tribulation will begin. In Matthew 24, Jesus gave specific signs that would signal the end of this age. He compared the increasing intensity of these warnings to the birth pains of a woman who is about to have a child. The warnings are meant to be a heads up to believers, to be ready. Now, more than ever, we need to be preparing ourselves. We need to be fervently sharing the gospel. Jesus is coming back. That day is not meant to overtake us as a thief in the night. Only those who don't know to watch for Him will be overtaken. We are aware of His return. The Horsemen of The Apocalypse is a series that will help you understand what things to watch for. This teaching outlines the future that is laid out in the book of Revelation, and how it relates to where we are today. - See more at: http://store.wogm.com/products/horsemen-of-the-apocalypse#sthash.YbLhEIWT.dpuf

When Jesus was asked what the greatest commandment is, He said it is to love God and to love others. Jesus was very clear that everything hinged this. He was referring to a very different type of love than is prevalent in todays world. The love Jesus referred to is the "God type " of love; true agape love. This is a completely selfless love that is sacrificial in nature. It is impossible to love with agape outside of a relationship with God. Even for believers, agape love doesn't just happen. We have to work at it. The first fruit of the Spirit is love. This means that if we are to fulfill the greatest commandment, we must have a relationship with the Lord. From there, He uses the trials of our lives to refine us. There is potential in every person, for every marriage, and in every situation. Nothing is beyond God's control. We are to love our neighbor, that is, whoever is near us and in need, like we would ourselves. Love On Trial challenges us to look inward and find out how we can better fulfill the greatest commandment. By doing so, we open the door for God to work in our situation. In this series you will learn what agape love looks like and how God can use whatever you are going through to lead you into better future. - See more at: http://store.wogm.com/products/love-on-trial#sthash.J7xZInjf.dpuf

6 Part Series WORDS - Life was created from them.
Wars were started by them. With them, good news is transferred. As a seed, carrying hope. They are untamable, yet comforting. Poisonous as venom but as sweet as honey. They are living, active and pregnant with purpose. They can build kingdoms, but destroy villages. They are memorable, unforgivable, and eternal Deceitful and uplifting.

They've resurrected the dead, but have broken our spirit. They release power, but contaminate the mind. They drain our breath, mold our thoughts, and command our attention. They can bind, restrict, depress and set free They have calmed storms, sparked movements, and stirred our anger. They are capable of love, compassion & justice. They are intangible, but evoke great emotion A powerful weapon, the tool for blessing and cursing. They are no respecter of persons. They do not see color, race or religion They are formed by the weak and the strong No matter how you try to stop them, they will always break through We have all planted them and eventually we will eat the fruit of them.
They are the reason we breath, blink, hear, smell, and see.

They've shaped who we are and what we've done. And today they will shape who we will become. It is all in what we will do. The choice is up to you. - See more at: http://store.wogm.com/products/words#sthash.UNa5eAn8.dpuf
